Understanding your experience

If you're living with Generalised Anxiety Disorder, you already know how exhausting it is.

The fear isn't imaginary. The physical sensations are real. The way it shapes your days — what you avoid, what you plan around, what you've quietly given up — that's all real too. And if you've already tried to address it and found the results disappointing, you're not alone. Most people try several approaches before finding something that actually works.

What we want you to know, before anything else: Generalised Anxiety Disorder is not a permanent condition. It has a biological mechanism — and that mechanism can be reset. That's not marketing language. It's what 650,000 recoveries across 50 countries, over 30 years, have consistently demonstrated.

What we address

Every Presentation of GAD. One Program.

The program addresses every form of generalised anxiety disorder.

Constant Background Worry
The relentless hum of anxiety that colours every experience — even when things are objectively fine
Catastrophising
The automatic mental leaping to worst-case scenarios — addressed directly in the program
Physical GAD Symptoms
Muscle tension, headaches, fatigue, churning stomach — all resolved as the alarm mechanism resets
GAD with Insomnia
The inability to switch off at night — one of the most common GAD presentations
Health Anxiety Overlap
When generalised worry focuses specifically on health — anxiety about the anxiety symptoms themselves
Performance Anxiety
Excessive worry about work, meetings, presentations — when the professional world becomes a source of dread
Relationship Anxiety
Constant worry about relationships, love, and whether you are loved — addressed directly
GAD with Depression
When the exhaustion of constant anxiety leads to low mood — both are addressed by the program

This program addresses all anxiety conditions simultaneously — because every anxiety disorder shares the same biological mechanism.

A gentle explanation

Why Standard GAD Treatment Often Falls Short

If you've tried CBT, medication, or mindfulness and still experience constant anxiety — this explains why.

Mindfulness treats the thought, not the alarm

Mindfulness helps observe anxious thoughts without judgment — but GAD is not caused by the thoughts themselves. It is caused by the alarm mechanism generating them. Without addressing the alarm, the thoughts keep coming.

Worry records don't resolve worry

CBT's thought diaries and worry records require you to engage with anxious thoughts logically — but the worry in GAD is produced by the biological alarm, not by faulty logic. Engaging with the thoughts strengthens, not weakens, the pattern.

Medication suppresses but doesn't resolve

Antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications reduce GAD symptoms — but the underlying biological mechanism continues. When medication is reduced, the constant anxiety returns — often unchanged.

CBT addresses the thoughts anxiety produces, not the alarm producing them

CBT works with the thoughts and beliefs that anxiety generates — it does not address the biological alarm mechanism generating them. Generalised anxiety is not produced by faulty reasoning; it is produced by the alarm system automatically. No rational argument recalibrates a neurological signal.

EFT (tapping) does not reach the biological alarm

Emotional Freedom Technique applies tapping to surface-level distress responses — it does not address the neurological mechanism producing constant new worry. The alarm generating anxious thoughts in GAD operates at a biological level that tapping does not recalibrate.

EMDR has no target in generalised anxiety

EMDR is designed to process the emotional distress attached to a specific traumatic memory. GAD is not rooted in a single event — it is a chronic state of the biological alarm operating at too high a setting. There is no specific memory for EMDR to process.

Hypnotherapy works at the level of suggestion, not neurological recalibration

Hypnotherapy addresses conscious patterns and associations — it does not reset the biological alarm mechanism. The anxiety alarm in GAD is a neurological process, not a thought pattern, and hypnotic suggestion leaves the alarm's underlying setting unchanged.

The Linden Method approach

GAD Has a Biological Root Cause.Address That, and Recovery Follows.

Generalised anxiety disorder is maintained by one mechanism: your brain's alarm centre — the amygdala — becoming locked in a habitually over-alert state, generating a constant background signal of unease, worry, and physical tension. This is not a personality trait or a character flaw. It is a biological state that can be resolved.

The constant worry, the inability to switch off, the physical symptoms of muscle tension, fatigue, and disturbed sleep — all are produced by this single alarm mechanism. When the alarm resets, every symptom resolves with it.

The Linden Method was developed by Charles Linden following his own complete recovery from severe anxiety disorder. It provides the specific tools to reset the anxiety mechanism — without CBT, without medication, and without fighting your symptoms.

The goal is not 'managed anxiety.' It is a life genuinely free from constant worry — which is what 650,000+ people have already achieved.
